Future Plans
initial turbo install on 15dec06 at about 10-12 psi. in feb/march i will be getting new pistons, rods, a bigger turbo, more head work, new clutch, and whatever else comes up that i can think of.
But, its an old, 4 door family sedan? Why?
-Because i love cb7's, and cars for that matter. I know that its not the most common route, and that most guys with cb7's(90-93 accords) swap in an h22 and are at 14 seconds, and at 4k spent already. This is not for me. My total build should cost less than or around 3k, and should put me in the low 12's to possibly the 11's, but im going to have to learn to drive between now and then(first time at the track was a learning experience for certain) before that happens. also, i know that there are plenty of cars that i could get into the 12's for less than 3k, and that i could have just started with something like a Z28, which are awesome by the way, but the idea that i will have a sleeper that will give quite a few cars a run for its money is satisfying to me. i dont do this because i want attention or because i want magazine covers and awards. i do this because i love cars, and if i can have a 12 second car for around 6k including the price of the car, then i will be a happy man. i think the appearance of the car is fine as is, and im satisfied with it and i dont see it as anything ricey or over done. regardless, the project will be a fun one, and yes, this will be my dd. i know that there will still be plenty of cars faster than mine, but a 12-11 second accord isnt something you see everyday.
